Razorback Moving

PLAN AHEAD. MOVE SAFELY.

Moving
exclusions

A smoother move starts with knowing what needs a specialist, what travels with you, and what should be ready before our crew arrives.

01 / Specialist work

Some jobs need a qualified pro.

Our crews move belongings. They do not perform trade work or certain property services. Please arrange these items before moving day, and tell us if they affect the move plan.

Electrical connections

We cannot disconnect or install hardwired light fixtures, ceiling fans, chandeliers, or other electrical components. Use a qualified electrician.

Plumbing connections

We cannot disconnect or reconnect water lines for washers, refrigerators, showerheads, or other fixtures. Arrange a qualified plumber or appliance professional.

Appliance disassembly

If a large appliance needs door removal or technical disassembly to fit, arrange an appliance specialist in advance. Ask us about access and dimensions first.

Gas connections

We do not disconnect or reconnect natural-gas or propane lines. Have the utility provider or a qualified technician handle them.

Snow and ice

Major snow or ice removal is not part of a standard move. Please arrange a safe, clear route to doors, walkways, and the truck.

Other services

Moving trucks cannot carry passengers, and garbage removal is not included in standard moving service. Ask our team if you need a separate solution.

02 / Restricted items

Keep these out of the moving truck.

These items need a separate plan. Do not place them inside boxes for the crew to load.

Fuel and tanks

Gasoline and propane

We cannot transport gasoline, propane tanks, or fuel-filled equipment. Empty and prepare fuel-powered items as directed by our team, and arrange separate transport for restricted fuel and tanks.

Weapons and explosives

Firearms, ammunition and fireworks

We do not place firearms, ammunition, or fireworks on our trucks. Keep them secure and make your own lawful transport arrangements.

03 / Move-day preparation

Make every item ready to load.

A little preparation helps protect your belongings and keeps the crew on schedule.

1

Box loose items

Pack items from plastic or shopping bags into sturdy moving boxes. Loose bags are not suitable for standard truck loading.

2

Seal every box

Close and tape boxes before the crew arrives. Open or unsealed boxes may need repacking before they can be moved.

3

Plan for unpacked goods

Tell us if you need packing help. Additional packing time and materials may affect your quote or schedule.

4

Address property conditions

Active bugs, rodents, or unsafe conditions may prevent service until resolved. Contact us early so we can discuss the next step.

A note about pressboard furniture

Particle-board and ready-to-assemble pieces can be fragile during handling. Tell us about these items ahead of time so we can discuss condition, disassembly, and the best available moving approach.

  • Share photos of unusual items
  • Measure tight doors and stairways
  • Confirm what is packed and sealed
  • Ask us about anything uncertain
