If your street does not allow double-parking, or is normally crowded with parked cars, you may be able to block off parking with your vehicle or a friend's vehicle (3 car lengths required). If that isn't possible, you will need to call and obtain a parking permit.

If possible, avoid booking your move during street cleaning. It is your responsibility to ensure proper parking for your Rogers movers. You will be charged for any parking ticket fees our moving truck incurs during the move.

Payment is due in full once your move is completed. We require cash or certified check as payment from first-time customers; repeat customers may pay by cash or check. If you decide to tip the movers, it will be best if you tip by cash, otherwise you may add it to the check. We welcome tips for our hardworking crews

When moving, it’s always a good idea to be insured. A moving company will provide you with valuation, which is not full-coverage insurance.

What is valuation?

A moving company offers valuation for your goods, which is not technically insurance. Valuation refers to how much a moving company will pay for your belongings if they are damaged or lost by the moving company. Valuation is regulated by the State or the Federal Government. All licensed moving companies include the basic valuation in the cost of your move. In Arkansas, basic valuation is $.60 per pound per item.

Valuation is based on how much something weighs. So a one pound bag of sugar and a one pound bag of diamonds is valued exactly the same. Its valuation in Arkansas is: $.60. If it’s worth more than $.60 per pound per item to you, you may want to purchase additional insurance from a third party that sells insurance NOT from your moving company. You can also purchase additional valuation directly from your moving company.
